HDMI (and VGA) Video Test Generator on the go. Designed for technicians in the Audio Visual industry to quickly validate that they have video and audio signal from source to destination. This tool will help to diagnose cable, connectivity, or switching problems without requiring a bulky laptop. This Introductory version gives you four test patterns: -SMPTE Color Bars -Grayscale Calibration -Convergence -Frequency -Grid (upgrade) You also get White Noise test tone for testing audio connectivity and calibration Supported resolutions at this time: 1024x768 1280x720 (1920x1080 support in the pro version but does not work with the lightening connector due to Apple hardware limitations unfortunately) Using these four basic patterns, you can verify connectivity and also do preliminary calibration and color matching. Works on monitors, LCD projectors, 1 & 3 chip DLP projectors, LCD displays, Plasma displays, etc. Note that you will require an adapter to connect from the dock connector to either and HDMI or HD15 (VGA) connector. This app must be used on a device that has a retina display, as high resolution output is not available on earlier models. Details on how to obtain this cable can be found on our website.
